Assessment
The Marketing Controller assessment rubric explains how learner submissions are reviewed, what evidence is expected, and what standard must be met for certification.
A rubric is the assessment framework used to review your simulation responses and final operational review. It helps ensure every learner is assessed consistently against the same professional criteria.
Learners must show that decisions are based on relevant evidence, not assumptions or platform recommendations alone.
Learners must choose appropriate KPIs, recognise weak or incomplete data, and explain whether performance evidence is strong enough to act on.
Learners must identify operational, compliance, brand, data-quality, financial, and customer-impact risks before approving marketing action.
Learners must make a clear decision: approve, approve with conditions, reject, escalate, or request further evidence, with a reasoned justification.
Learners must show that AI-generated recommendations are reviewed critically and that human accountability remains clear.
Learners must document who made the decision, what evidence was considered, what risks were identified, and what should be recorded for future review.
The response is incomplete, unsupported, or does not show enough professional judgement.
The response identifies some relevant issues but lacks depth, evidence, or clear decision reasoning.
The response meets the expected professional standard and shows clear evidence, risk awareness, and accountable judgement.
The response is well-evidenced, balanced, commercially aware, and produces a decision record that could be used in a real marketing governance environment.
Learners must demonstrate competent performance across the core assessment criteria. AI may support an initial marking pass, but final review, feedback, and certification decisions are completed by a human assessor.
Where a submission does not yet meet the required standard, the learner may be asked to revise or resubmit specific parts of their response.
